For barristers “high quality intellectual property services” means excellence in advocacy and drafting combined with a thorough knowledge of intellectual property and related areas of law. Overheads are cut to the bone and new and more cost-effective ways of delivering advisory, advocacy and drafting services are constantly sought.
As is the case with everyone else who supplies services under the NIPC Brands NIPC Law members are encouraged to improve their skills through training that is over and above that required by the Bar Standards Board. Feedback on members’ performance is sought from clients and peers. Performance is monitored and weaknesses are corrected through training and mentoring
