Film

The camcorder, digital camera, internet and mobile phone have brought film making and distribution within reach of everyone. We advise everyone engaged in film production and distribution on the intellectual property, contractual and regulatory issues affecting their industry.

We also draft agreements for directors, producers, investors, writers, actors, technicians, composers, musicians, caterers, equipment suppliers, distributors and broadcasters.

We represent parties in litigation before the Chancery Division in claims for infringement of copyright, rights in performances and other intellectual property rights.

Whenever there is a significant development of the law relating to the industry, or whenever we discover a point of law that we would like to share with the industry and its other professional advisors, we will at least blog it. If we think it is sufficiently important we may even publish an article or special feature on the topic.   Also, from time to time we hold conferences and seminars on the legal issues affecting the film industry.

If you would like to receive updates on IP law relating to film and news of our conferences and seminars, please complete this form.
