2005	01 Jan	NIPC Law moved to The Media Centre, Huddersfield
2002	1 Apr	Accredited as a mediator by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators
	25 Mar	NIPC Law moved from Lancaster Buildings to Kingsgate House, Manchester and was clerked by Kingsgate Chambers
1997	01 May	Opened NIPC Law at Lancaster Buildings 77 Deansgate, Manchester as a quasi-annexe of New Court. The set quickly established itself as the first and remains the only specialist IP and technology set outside London
1992	2 Apr	Passed the fellowship examination of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and subsequently elected to fellowship
1988	25 Sep	Joined New Court, Temple, a specialist intellectual property set while continuing to practise concurrently from Bridge Street Chambers in Manchester until 25 Mar 1995.
1985	1 Mar	Left Temple Chambers and joined Bridge Street Chambers in Manchester, then one of 3 specialist chancery sets in Manchester
1984	1 Aug	Left VISA international and resumed practice at the Bar from Temple Chambers, London
1983	1 Aug	Left 8 Old Square and joined VISA International as legal advisor for Europe, the Middle East and Africa
1978	1 Oct	Joined 8 Old Square, Lincoln’s Inn as the junior tenant and practised at the chancery bar
	1 Mar	Began 6 months pupillage with Robert Reid (later QC) in chambers of Paul Baker at 9 Old Square, Lincoln’s Inn
1977	1 Oct	Began 6 months pupillage with Roger Cox in chambers of Roy Beldam QC
	29 Jul	Called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn
