CPD Training Courses

NIPC Ltd. has organized its first two seminars for the 2010/2011 legal year:

This is the third year that we have run this course and with two new speakers, Howsoon Semega-Janneh and Jane Rapin, it will be better than ever.

This course will be a good preparation for our introductory courses in October 2010:

6 Oct          Introduction to Patents

13 Oct        Introduction to Trade Marls

20 Oct        Introduction to Designs

27 Oct         Introduction to Copyrights and Related Rights

Those courses will take place at Holme Castle.  Situated in stunning countryside with ample parking this impressive country house is within easy reach of Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield.

In November we shall run more advanced workshops on litigation focusing on search orders, expert evidence, mediation and assessment of damages.   Early in the New Year we shall hold seminars on non-contentious issues such as managing trade secrets and IP strategy.

About Jane Lambert

I am a barrister specializing in intellectual property, technology, media and entertainment and competition law. I specialize in helping SME (small and medium enterprises) protect and exploit their investment in brands, design, technology and the arts. SME require intellectual property (legal protection for their intellectual assets) at least as much as big business but their limited means restrict the way they can use it. Looking after such clients wisely requires skills and knowledge which have taken me years to learn.
